As part of our continuous improvement and release process, we are making strides forward in our content creation offerings at Damstra Learning. One of these key milestones was the introduction of the new Lesson Editor, which uses a module-based approach to creating lesson content.
Why should I use the new Editor?
The new editor has been built with a raft of new features! Not only have we improved its performance we've also added the ability to preview your content before publishing.
It also allows you to create lessons using the editor while having separate document modules amongst your lesson.
There are also a number of improvements to the assessments and you can also upload additional resources for your trainees to download!
Ok great! how do I use the new editor?
Now, when you open a lesson that was created with the old editor, you'll be prompted to migrate to the new editor.
Once you select Yes, the conversion will begin and you'll be presented with the new Damstra Learning lesson editor.
Your chapters will be converted to modules, and you'll be able to use the new editor right away. This does not change your currently published version until you save and re-publish.
If you select No, you can continue to use the old editor (for a little while) but at some point in the future, we will be removing the old editor completely.
